Macroeconomic policy modeling and rating the governance performance of Indian states are amongst the few things that Sudipto Mundle does. He has also recently done a study of Bihar’s development experience. He has been a Senior Adviser, NCAER and was on the Board of Governors, NIPFP; served as member of the Fourteenth Finance Commission; and Chairman of the National Statistical Commission. Before superannuating from ADB as its Director, he served at IIM-Ahmedabad as RBI Chair Professor. All the institutions have benefitted immensely from his expertise in macro-economics, development economics, public expenditure and governance.
