Health sector has suddenly caught steam as well as the nation’s imagination particularly in context of COVID19. Our healthcare sector, practitioners, individual professionals, hospitals and chains including the pharmaceutical organisations have been quick to respond and adapt to the new normal. The objectives set out by the National Digital Health Mission to reach healthcare at the last mile and health for all will soon be realised. When we conducted nationwide survey of Ayushman Bharat last year at its first year completion, we found that it had already ignited the Indian healthcare sector. Apart from making healthcare accessible to all, it is contributing to building capacities for all the stakeholders.
Technology in the Indian healthcare sector is also being used like never before. How will infrastructure cope with this? What is the quality of service? What are the best practices that are helping to improve outcomes? We are working on answering these questions based on evidence
